Delete your account

You can delete your Act On Word account and the data linked to it at any time.

In the app

In the latest version of the app, open Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account. Tick the box and tap Delete my account for ever. Your account is deleted straight away.

1. Fill in the form below, or send an email to actonword@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”.
2. Write from the email address you use to sign in, so we know the account is yours.
3. We confirm by email and delete your account within 30 days.

What we delete

• Your account: name, email, phone, profile photo, city and language
• Your progress: lessons, answers, quiz results, points, streaks, habits, check-ins and health check-ins
• Your My Teacher and App Guide questions and answers
• Photos and files you uploaded for tasks
• Your community posts, comments and chat messages, or we remove your name from them

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment records (receipts) for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires
• Backups are overwritten within 90 days
• A note that the account was deleted at your request
